Like I told you before in my previous post,well its time to share about the details :)
About us/Background :
We were a highschool mate in SMUN 82 back in 1999 to 2002. We once tried to make him to be my fake-boyfriend, in order to deceive my annoying ex from junior school. He was the first man that holds my hand :) at that time, somehow I got a feeling that he's the one. Weird huh? I think it was because I felt so comfortable around him. But we never got close or dating during high school.
5 years later, we met in Gramedia Book Store, PIM. I just got out from a bad relationship, he just broke up with his girlfriend. We switch phone numbers and had an intensive call afterward. 1 week later, we're officially dating. I was thinking "Okay,I will break up with him after a month" because I wasn't get over my ex. Fortunately, his patientness, maturity and caringness has made our relationship last until 5 years! ..I know he's the one eversince!
Place
Last week we decided to take a vacation to Bandung on 2nd and 3rd of June 2011. We have booked for everything but it turns out,it wasn't go according to the plan since he has a tight meeting schedule. Got a little changed,we went to Bandung on June 1st midnight and leave on June 2nd.
As usual, we spent many hours at Rumah Mode hehehe :P and leaving bandung afterward. well, at least that's the original plan. However, we decided to have an early-dinner first before we leave, spontaneously at Maja House (which is a new rooftop dining place around Dago Atas).
The proposal event
The place was soooo beautiful, great architecture and romantic! its like having an outdoor dinner,with beautiful sunset, breeze air on bed! We have a nice quality time while eating. the place was so fine and I said to him like this "honey,one day if you want to proposed me, you have to propose me here because this place is too beautiful" suddenly my boyfriend sit and hold my hand afterward. He had a cold sweat. He then said "Honey, will you marry me?" I thought it was a joke even though i know he got a stomachache coz his hands were sweating and cold. I was answered "what are you talking about? ofcourse my answer will always yes,honey!" with flat face and continue to eat. He was stood and silent and I still consider that as a joke. 5 minutes later, his mom called by the time I was holding the phone. Unable to tell her the 'supposedly-shocking-story-if-only-it-was-true' directly, I immediately gave the phone to my boyfriend to tell her. Shocked and suprised, he stood in silent in a couple of minutes and said "mom, i got news. ummm.. *paused a couple of times* I just proposed ingkan". At that instant, then I knew it is real and shocked! LOL xp
His mom responded "Alhamdulilah! but do you already gave her the ring honey?" boyfriend : "No ring mom,it's just so sudden and spontaneous" His mom "honey, after you come back to jakarta, repeat it and do it proper okay?" We both laughed. 10 minutes later,we drove to Jakarta to my parents house and started to call everybody. :) On the way to Jakarta,I asked "Why propose now?" Then he explains "Because as you said, the place was perfect, the timing was perfect and then I thought : This is it, now or never! You know, I just got a hunch. And its a coincidence that you asked about the proposal that time because I was finding the right word and thinking it over in 15 minutes before I asked you" :). Me: "Okay hon,now what? what we're gonna do next?" honestly,we both feel so clueless. But then he comforted me: "we dont have to do this in a hurry,we talked in this next 2 hours on the way back to Jakarta".
Honestly, I'm happy and excited but also scared to death! :) That's normal right? :P Anyway,
here's the Maja House which I consider one of the most beautiful dining place in Bandung.
